These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AiMySpeed mobile application ("App") operated by Chedio Ltd ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using AiMySpeed, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AiMySpeed, you confirm that:

3. License and Use

3.1 License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use AiMySpeed for personal, non-commercial purposes.

3.2 Permitted Use

You may use the App to:

Receive alerts when exceeding set speed limits
View location-based information

3.3 Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

Use the App while driving in a manner that distracts from safe operation
Rely solely on the App for legal speed limit compliance

Attempt to hack, disrupt, or compromise the App's functionality
Violate any local, state, or international laws

4. Important Disclaimers

4.1 Not a Legal Speedometer

AiMySpeed is NOT a certified speedometer and should NOT be used as a legal substitute for your vehicle's speedometer. GPS-based speed calculations may have variations and inaccuracies.

4.2 Driver Responsibility

You are solely responsible for obeying all traffic laws and speed limits
The App does not provide legal speed limits for all locations
Always prioritize safe driving over app interaction
Never use the App in a way that distracts from driving

4.3 Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, GPS-based speed tracking can be affected by:

GPS signal strength and satellite availability
Device hardware quality
Environmental conditions (tunnels, buildings, weather)
Network connectivity

4.4 No Liability for Violations

We are NOT responsible for:

Speeding tickets or traffic violations
Accidents or injuries related to app use
Legal consequences of speed limit violations
Missed speed alerts or notification failures

5. Location Services and Battery Usage

5.1 Location Access Required

The App requires continuous access to your device's location services for core functionality. You may revoke this permission at any time, but the App will not function without it.

5.2 Battery Consumption

IMPORTANT: Continuous use of GPS running in the background dramatically decreases battery life while the app is in use. This is a normal characteristic of GPS-based applications.

7. Data and Privacy

7.2 Local Storage

All location data and journey history are stored locally on your device. You can delete this data at any time through the App settings.

7.3 Anonymous Data Sharing

Only anonymous speed data is shared during active tracking sessions for the real-time speed comparison feature. This data is removed when you close the app.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Ownership

AiMySpeed, including all content, features, functionality, code, and design, is owned by Chedio Ltd and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8.2 Trademarks

"AiMySpeed" and the AiMySpeed logo are trademarks of Chedio Ltd. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

9. App Availability and Updates

9.1 Service Availability

We strive to keep the App available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to:

Modify or discontinue features
Perform maintenance
Update the App
Temporarily suspend service

9.2 Updates

We may release updates to improve functionality, fix bugs, or add features. Some updates may be mandatory for continued use.

9.3 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee that:

The App will be error-free or uninterrupted

The App is compatible with all devices or operating systems

10. Limitation of Liability

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Traffic violations, speeding tickets, or legal penalties
Accidents or incidents occurring while using the App

10.3 Maximum Liability

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the App (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chedio Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Your use or misuse of the App
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of others
Traffic violations or accidents related to your use of the App

12. Age Restrictions

AiMySpeed is intended for users aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, you may only use the App with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

13. Termination

13.1 By You

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

13.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for:

Fraudulent or illegal activities

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

Local data remains on your device until you delete it
